Vintagemozart a Zimbabwean afro-surrealist and afrofuturist artist, is a motion graphic designer who earned an M.F.A in Graphic Design from Cyprus International University with a focus on advertising and multimedia. Vintagemozart draws inspiration from artists such as Taj Francis, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Salvador Dali, as well as Hip Hop artists like the Wu-Tang Clan and Rap artists like Kanye West, to create animated forms that invite the viewer to inhabit a place of becoming in each artwork, where new ways of being can form. Vintagemozart is a co-founder of the African NFT Community, which provides a platform for African NFT artists to showcase their work and has sparked a place for artists to obtain more global exposure.
Vintagemozart , explores elements from African and Greek mythology, allowing viewers to imagine new worlds and visualise a transcendent future. Vintagemozart is most known for creating surrealist digital collages with music and animation, combining mythical tales and historical allusions to generate enchanting dreamscapes.
