Detailed Information

Samer Dabra alias spongenuity is a visual and generative artist experimenting with the visual spectrum using generating randomness and our inherent relationship to data. The pieces invite the visitor to find beauty in the complexity of the works by emphasising the aesthetics of colour theory.

Processing is used to create the majority of the works, which are generally portraits.

The pictures are created using an algorithm and a random seed derived from message input, therefore the entire image is technically my encrypted signature.

NFTs, plotter portraits, and embroidery machines all utilise the same data, resulting in a seamless multi-media experience that blends the digital and physical worlds.

Samer employs projection mapping and robotics in the creation of art installations and portraiture. His work may be seen at hotels in New York and Barcelona, as well as in private residences across the world.
