Malika continued her graphic design education in Dakar. At the same time, she learned about video and honed her light control skills.
She had the chance to study from Djibril Sy, a photographer, during her computer graphics studies, who sparked her interest in photography and encouraged her to explore it further.
She went on to work as a graphic designer while continuing to follow her passion for photography, particularly with various means of experimenting with light.
She pursued a career in black and white photography, with a special fondness for portraits. Her ‘style’ is influenced by her varied educational background.
