Black People Eats is the ultimate foodie account to follow! Their mission is to spotlight and celebrate the incredible culinary talents within the black community. They focus exclusively on sharing the best dining experiences and do not engage in negative reviews.

Black-owned restaurants often don’t get the recognition they deserve. That’s why Black People Eats was created—to shine a light on these hidden gems and showcase the rich culture and delicious food they offer. Their platform serves as a comprehensive database, making it easier for diners to discover African American-owned eateries.

Their aim is to educate and build a bridge between the community and these amazing restaurants. Support black-owned businesses and join them on this flavorful journey!

Black People Eats is the foodie account you should follow. Our goal is to spread the word of excellent eats, so we only talk about places we like. We do not promote negative reviews.

We noticed that black-owned restaurants fly under the radar. We wanted to create a channel to help fill that gap so the entire world can see this black culture and some of the great food products that we make. So we launched Black People Eats as a database so diners could better find restaurants owned by African Americans.

Our goal is to be educational. We want to make a bridge between the community and restaurants! Support black-owned businesses!

I had an amazing time visiting @visitlex for @soulfeastweek, organized by @mxbarksdale and @_martibarksdale. The Black food scene and culture here are incredible! To start off @soulfeastweek, I had a fantastic farm-to-table dinner with fresh produce from the historic @colemancrestfarmtv, a family farm that has been around for generations. We learned about their amazing produce and enjoyed a delicious meal cooked by the talented @isaiahscreetch. The next day, I attended Kentucky’s premier Juneteenth celebration, SOULFEAST, which celebrates Black liberation and ingenuity through music, art, agriculture, and, of course, fantastic food. I met many amazing people and tried some incredible dishes. Don’t miss out on supporting Black-owned restaurants this week during their Black Restaurant Week in Lexington, Kentucky. Lexington is truly outstanding in the food scene—you have to visit next year to experience it all! I went to go @visitphoenix and it was truly a foodie experience. I was able to experience so many amazing black restaurants like @eatatccs @cuties.lemonade @brunchnsip @azdopechef (private chef experience) @mrswhites ( owner is 10- years old ) and @sugarjam1 . Outside of that, I was also able to experience amazing activities like hot air balloon ride with @rainbowryders , rooftop with @outriderrooftop , hiking at hole in rock, and @tigerwoods mini golf venue @popstroke <br /><br />If your looking for a place that has amazing weather , beautiful mountains and amazing food, then you need to come check out Phoenix,Arizona #blackpeopleeats #visitphoenix #travelarizona

I went to go visit Milwaukee with @visitmilwaukee and it truly was a culinary experience . We started off the trip with an invite to @bravotopchef world premier then I was able to visit many amazing black owned restaurants such as @micasasucafe @sherman.phoenix.marketplace ( that had @bakeddreamsmke @stylepopcafe @theclassicshoppe and house of vitalitea) @thediplomatmke @slushdaiquirilounge @yummybowlmke at @3rdstmarkethall @honeybeesagewellness @alem_ethiopian_village @lushpopcorn @gjemke @twistedplantsmke and we also was able to visit the @milwaukeeart , go to @bucks game and visit @wisconsincheesemart to take some cheese home. I recently jetted off to the Bahamas for the 2nd annual @npiwff (Nassau Paradise Island Wine and Food Fest) at @atlantisbahamas, and oh boy, what a whirlwind it was! From daytime cooking events with @chefaz and @chefjj, to wine dinners with @chefirvine, and nightly signature food events like Jerk Jam, Taste of Paradise, and Tacos and Tequila featuring Bahamian culinary wizards such as @dodoonskitchen, @sipsipbahamas, @kitchenculture242, @vellmonkeyfoot, @powbrunch, and more. Plus, we grooved to live tunes by @wyclefjean and got our praise on at @bishophez’s gospel brunch. This five-day feast was an epic journey uniting foodies from all corners, celebrating culinary mastery, all while supporting the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation.
